Hi, Folks! Sorry I haven't been around lately. I'm working on programming a game set in the Empire of the Nines. Brushing up on my programming skills, trying to update it. There's an awful lot of work involved! On a sadder note, there've been a few deaths in my family and my wife's family. They kind of hit us all at once. My wife's Aunt Myrtle passed away the beginning of December, I almost lost a granddaughter, and did lose a great-granddaughter. A good friend passed away the same day (Dec 31), and my Uncle Donald passed away Jan 1. So, my year hasn't gotten off to a very good start. I'll see if I can squeeze in some writing somewhere. Got to get that discipline back, I guess! Later!

Wow, damn man, I'm sorry for your losses. That really sucks. Looks like my wife's grandmother won't make it to the end of the month, but she has cancer and is in a lot of pain, so it won't be as bad for us when she goes.
Take your time with whatever you need, we're not going anywhere.

My sympathies for both of you. Lost my Grandfather last summer so I can empathize. As Jason said, no rush. We are not going anywhere. As for your programming project, feel free to talk to me. I program video games for my job and can offer some assistance.

Thanks for the support, guys. MY sympathies on your wife's grandmother, Jason. I might be in touch with you, Styraxian. I could probably use some guidance by someone in the know. Talk to ya later!

Richard,
Sorry to hear about your losses. My problems - had to by a new furnace and cracked a tooth last week, seem minor in comparison.
I'm also sorry for my own absence. The end and beginning of the years seem to have a lot of weight and I'm clawing my way out of it (plus, taking so much needed time off on my holiday break).
Mark,
likewise sorry for taking soooooo long to post for the Flight of the 'Toria.
I'm hoping that any bad karma, luck, or ill winds have passed everyone by and we can look forward to a New Year.
Lowell
